Pepsi, working with the Deep Focus Moment Studio, is being credited with being the first brand to jump on the monumental Harlem Shake video meme. Mashable wrote about the video, which shows what you always expected happens when you leave a few Pepsi cans to their own devices.
Mashable’s Todd Wasserman covers the work in Pepsi Embraces the Harlem Shake:
“Well, that didn’t take long. At least one big brand — Pepsi — has embraced the big dance craze of early 2013, the Harlem Shake… It’s all in good fun, but as one observer noted, opening those cans afterward would be ‘problematic.’”
The Moment Studio is Deep Focus’s creative newsroom for hire. The Moment Studio uses an editorial operations model to create highly shareable, highly engaging short-form branded content in real time.
But not to worry, no cans were harmed in the creation of this video.
